How does ReCharge API Integration work on your Shopify store?

ReCharge API Integration allows your advocates to apply their rewards to different platforms.

How do you switch on Recharge Integration for your Shopify store?

  1. Make sure that ReferralCandy and Recharge are installed on your Shopify store. 
  2. From ReferralCandy, go to Integration and connect to Recharge as your third-party app. 

3. A pop-up will appear, toggle the auto-apply coupon for ReCharge subscriptions feature as desired.

4. Click "Connect" to proceed.

5. Another window will open. Type in your store URL

6. Log in to your store

7. Click install to give permission to ReferralCandy to manage coupons

After that, you'll be directed to the ReferralCandy dashboard with ReCharge indicated as connected

8. On Recharge dashboard, allow customers to apply coupon on existing subscriptions.

Rewards you can give: For the advocate -

  1. Coupon discount (percentage discount only) - auto generated both on Shopify and ReCharge when an advocate is going to be rewarded. Can be used on either Shopify's platform on ReCharge's platform 
  2. Cash reward - paid via PayPal
  3. Custom reward - to be fulfilled by you

For the friend:

Coupon discount (percentage only) - created when new advocates are added (advocate's referral link will reveal the coupon) to the campaign

How will your customers get their referral rewards?

1. When new customers are referred, they will get a coupon code from the ReferralCandy page. They can copy the coupon code and paste it on EITHER

  • The one-time order checkout OR
  • The subscription order checkout

2. After making a successful referral, customers will receive an email with a unique coupon code. They can copy the code and paste it on EITHER 

  • The one-time order checkout OR
  • The subscription order checkout OR
  • The existing subscription page in their Customer Account
